Microsoft recognizes exceptional technology community leaders around the world each year through its prestigious Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award. This exclusive designation recognizes professionals who are committed to sharing their technical expertise with others to help them solve problems and discover new capabilities.
Being named a Microsoft MVP is a highly sought-after honour. Microsoft MVPs are a highly select group of professionals, with just over 3,000 awardees worldwide. MNP’s Cameron McKay was recently welcomed into their ranks for his work with Microsoft Azure integrations.
“This means a lot to me both personally and professionally,” says Cameron about this exceptional achievement. “I was mentored by another Microsoft MVP when I first joined MNP, and his knowledge and teachings really made an impact on my career. It inspired me to try to achieve the Microsoft MVP designation and mentor others.”
As a Microsoft MVP, Cameron will have the opportunity to meet with Microsoft executives and network with other Microsoft MVP peers. Microsoft also provides a wide range of programs that allow Microsoft MVPs to gain early access to technology. This enables Cameron to remain on the cutting edge of the software and hardware industry.
To be eligible for this designation, individuals must demonstrate a deep commitment to the community, a passion for technology, and a willingness to help others through sharing their technical expertise. Microsoft MVP candidates are nominated by a current Microsoft MVP or Microsoft employee.
“This award is going to open a lot of doors for me,” says Cameron. “Microsoft communicates with Microsoft MVPs for feedback and provides a lot of inside information and support on using their products. I’m looking forward to using this experience to support clients and members of the technology community.”
Cameron was an undeniable candidate for the Microsoft MVP designation. As a certified Microsoft Azure Application Architect and a Manager on MNP Digital’s Application Development team, he has applied his technical expertise to help many of our clients automate communication between their systems and Microsoft Azure. Cameron also regularly contributes his knowledge as a Microsoft Azure thought leader, speaking at numerous Microsoft and development community conferences on topics related to Microsoft Azure.
MNP congratulates Cameron on receiving this prestigious award. Cameron’s technical knowledge, community focus, and dedication has everyone proud to be a part of his team and we’re all looking forward to celebrating this exciting accomplishment with him.
