Curiosity, community, and a drive to solve problems — these are the qualities that have propelled Brian Li, Technical Lead at MNP Digital, to once again earn the distinguished title of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Champion for 2025-2026. This global honour is reserved for a select group of professionals who exemplify technical excellence, leadership, and a passion for advancing digital experience management.
Brian’s journey to champion status started with a simple reality. “Seven years ago, I started my blog and began building AEM-specific tools because there simply wasn’t enough documentation out there,” Brian recalls. “I wanted to make life easier for the community, and it’s rewarding to see those resources now helping thousands of professionals worldwide.”
His developer chatbot, now used by more than 25,000 people, and his Chrome extension for AEM have become essential tools for content authors and developers. “It’s about more than technical expertise. To be a Champion, you have to believe in the platform and support others in their growth,” Brian explains.
Brian’s contributions extend even further, encompassing answering questions in the AEM Community Forum, publishing practical guides, and developing tools that streamline workflows.
With a journey in AEM beginning in 2014, Brian remains driven by a desire to master both front-end and back-end technologies. Over the years, his curiosity and perseverance have led him from Vancouver to London, collaborating with global teams and contributing to the broader Adobe community. “After four years, I started participating in the community, sharing my knowledge and building tools. Now, as a solutions architect, I focus on designing systems and mentoring others,” he says.
Brian’s Champion status is helping MNP Digital build a foundation for robust AEM services. By participating in knowledge sharing, Brian is expanding his network and strengthening MNP’s expertise. As he continues to connect with professionals and develop new AEM offerings, MNP is positioned to deliver even greater value to clients through its Adobe team.
Looking ahead, Brian acknowledges the rapid evolution of the digital landscape, especially with the rise of AI. “Nobody knows where this is heading, but at the moment, I’ve invested so much time in AEM and I want to see it continue to thrive,” he shares.
