Giving back to the communities we live and work in is one of MNP’s core values. Recognizing the incredible work of the many non-profit organizations across Canada is an opportunity we cherish and actively look to continue, which is why we developed the Client Feedback Gives Back program.
Since 1992, the LoSeCa Foundation has been offering community residences, employment supports, and community access options to persons with disabilities in St. Albert and Edmonton.
Today, the Foundation operates 30 community residences and provides a wide variety of programs for persons with disabilities. The name of the LoSeCa Foundation stands for Love-Service-Care and its vision is to support the individual needs of persons with disabilities so their potential can be realized.
MNP Partner John McLaughlin says having the LoSeCa Foundation as a client for the last 10 years has given him an appreciation of the valuable work they do in the community.
“We saw a growing organization that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of persons with disabilities,” he says. “This donation allows us to make an impact and support the important work they do through their programs to enhance community participation and well-being.”
Twice a year, MNP Digital selects a non-profit organization to support through our Client Feedback Gives Back program. We donate $1 to their cause for every client satisfaction survey submission received.
MNP Digital’s Managed IT Services team responds to everyday challenges that clients face with their IT systems. Every support ticket the team resolves includes a two-second client feedback survey, which helps ensure that clients are receiving the best support experience. Now it also gives the team a chance to support an outstanding community non-profit in the process.
“As a non-profit, we rely on donations to support various initiatives for our individuals in care,” says Carmen Horpestad, Executive Director and CEO of the LoSeCa Foundation. “One of our current fundraising projects is to make another one of our homes wheelchair accessible so that our individuals can age in place. The $1145 donation from MNP will help us get closer to our goal.”
MNP Digital is proud to select the LoSeCa Foundation as the second recipient of this initiative. The first recipient to receive a donation from this program was Poundmaker’s Lodge. The team is optimistic that this initiative will continue to grow, enabling the fundraising impact to go further for additional deserving charities in the future.
“We started this initiative to be able to give back,” says MNP Client Experience Manager, Chris Ippolito. “The idea was to gather more feedback from our clients to improve our service, but we found a great way to incentivize feedback was to offer a donation for a non-profit — which has turned into a win-win for everyone.”
